the long lost poems

:D I almost forgot I was a poet:

Ice

For the Light
Do I ever reach
rising and falling
arms above the Dark
As is this dream

The Water is ice
Dark and deep
How lovely it seems
to just sink

But, no matter
The Warmth in my limbs,
Inviting sleep of frost,
That water is bitter
and forever bears thirst.
though I wish to drown,
Drinking fully.

But still that light,
hanging above the dark,
in a line,
is warmth against the dark
and a cure
to that which I carry
inside.

Do not Leave Me

Do not leave me too fast
to my wing plucked fate.
Don't turn so soon from me
do not hide from me your face

For I have learned the value of a minute
And have seen hours fly.
I have seen how a day can last a lifetime
and life pass in a twinkling eye.

Don't leave me so soon
to my flightless fate.
Don't burn your memories
though I have, it's too late...

Filtered

There would be things
A multitude that I'd say
to tell you of
But there must be a filter
colandlike tangles,
behind my eyes maybe,
That stops the flow of words
holding my fingers taunt
and causing my voice to skip, stop
There must be a critic,
selfish, vile, critter in my head
who would take the best
leaving the rest
for his own singular enjoyment

That must be the reason
why I stand in front of you
with something to say(good thing too)
but without any sound at all

I like your space, I enjoy reading your poems, I think if you have to do different things, just remember that if you want different results start doing things different
    take care
